Vergangenen Sonntag fand in der 4Players Liga der CS:GO 5on5 Opening Cup by Sennheiser statt, bei dem die Teilnehmer um ein Preisgeld in Höhe von 1.000,-- € spielten. Auch unser CS:GO-Team befand sich unter den 75 teilnehmenden Teams. Unsere Jungs rund um Alexander 'kryptonite' Spitzer trafen nach einem Freilos in der zweiten Runde auf die Serben von myDGB. Auf de_train_se konnten wir uns durchsetzen und uns in die nächste Runde spielen.

In der dritten Runde trafen wir auf die Franzosen von Evokate!, die uns das Leben schon um einiges schwerer machten. Leider konnten wir auf de_inferno_se nur 3 Runden ergattern und schieden an dieser Stelle aus dem Cup aus. Evokate! landeten später auf Platz 5-8. Alles in allem sind unsere Jungs guter Dinge. Da es zur Zeit nur wenige Möglichkeiten gibt, sich in CS:GO unter Wettkampfbedingungen mit anderen Teams zu messen, war dieser Cup eine willkommene Abwechslung, um unsere Schwächen zu erkennen und daran arbeiten zu können. Wir nehmen die Erfahrung also mit und versuchen sie, positiv auf zukünftige Turniere anzuwenden.

Das Preisgeld ging letzten Endes an die Franzosen von Team VeryGames. Auf Platz 2 landete ROCKSTAR und auf Platz 3 Team DEMÜTIGER, das sich im Spiel um Platz 3 gegen Quality-Serveur.com durchsetzen konnte. Neben Evokate! erspielten sich auch mousesports, Team ALTERNATE und rocketmen! den Platz 5-8.
